A Message From Mary Beth

Albany needs new voices and fresh ideas to help fix state government. That is why I am running for New York State Senate.

As the Supervisor in the Town of Somers for the last 12 years, I understand how state government impacts local communities and families. In the State Senate, I will fight for taxpayers and return credibility and stability to state government.

I believe smaller, more efficient government, lower taxes, traditional family values and the protection of personal freedom. My priorities in Albany will be clear:

• Enact a cap to stop Albany from spending more than we can afford.
• Eliminate wasteful state spending.
• Cut taxes.
• Cap local property taxes and restore our STAR Property Tax Rebate Checks.
• Repeal the unfair MTA Payroll Tax.
• Provide a tax credit to Hudson Valley businesses for each new job created.

I eagerly anticipate hearing from many of you in the weeks and months ahead. As always, thank you for your support.
